Leora was a longtime POD member who made many deep and lasting friendships. She was the current President-Elect of POD and over the years made numerous contributions to the field of faculty development and also to POD. As a leader, ally, and friend, she will be missed dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that friends and colleagues offer contributions to the UNLV Libraries Honor With Books Program or to any organization that plants trees such as the Plant a Tree Today Foundation or Trees for the Future.
