Core Committee

The following text is paraphrased from the POD By-laws:

The activities, affairs, and property of POD are directed by a board of directors known as the Core Committee. The Core Committee consists of no more than 18 persons, including the President, President-elect, and Past President. Members are elected for 3-year terms by a vote of the POD membership. Five new members are elected each year. Core Committee members must be members of POD. Incumbent members of the Core Committee must wait at least one year before being candidates for another term.

The Executive Committee carries forth the work of our organization between Core Committee meetings and oversees other important aspects of our work. Membership of the Executive Committee includes the President, President-elect, Past President, Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, and the Executive Director (ex-officio).
